First Nations Elopement Love

Meet Zeek and Naz. These star-crossed lovers met online years ago when Naz was living halfway across the world in Kuwait. This Filipina Queen flew all the way to Australia and firmly planted her roots deep within the Earth with the help of her Aboriginal/South Sea Islander King, Zeek. Now these two have been blessed to be expecting their first baby, the convergence of these Indigenous bloodlines. To come forth in to this world carrying the wisdom and strength of their ancestors on both sides - and what an incredible way to honour that journey than with this incredible Elopement style shoot 😍

We bought the Power whānau (Zeeks family) together to honour this King and Queen in a body painting ceremony facilitated by the incredible Luther Cora (Yugambeh Mob) ❤️💛🖤 on Yugambeh land. Grateful for the work Luther does within his communities and his work. Guiding and helping others to reconnect with their culture through ceremony and storytelling, as many of us seek to reconnect with our cultures.
